• Mission: The mission of AFJROTC is to develop citizens of character dedicated to serving their nation and their community.

• History: The HSD2 AFJROTC Unit was established in 1996 and designated CO-961. CO-961 is one of five AFJROTC programs in Colorado Springs and one of nine in the state of Colorado.
